Wiring baseboard heater using wiremold

I'm running wiremold to a baseboard heater and am confused as to the proper way to connect the wiremold to the wiring cavity in the heater. Normally I'd use a wiremold box to make the connection, but no "box" exists on the baseboard heater. It seems like there would have to be a short length of unprotected wire leading from the wiremold to the heater, which seems wrong.

Any ideas?

Thanks,
- Tom

Wire mold does have a change over connector, from the WM to a box. You may have to bend an offset in it to make it fit. You must know what size you are useing. the supply house will have all the info you need.
