Ceiling Fan Trips Breaker

Installed my new fan this weekend and everything was working great. for some reason now when I turn on the fan it kicks the breaker. turning the light on by it self does not kick the breaker. I'm pulling my hair out tryin to fix this. I personally think the fan just went bad, but I would like a second opinion.

switch 1 fan
switch 2 light

It's certainly possible that the fan went bad, but doubtful.

Check your wiring. My bet is on a loose connection somewhere that is opened and a hot wire is contacting a ground or neutral wire.

Did you remove fan/light switch? If yes, start there, remove it and check for signs of a pinched wire. If no. Then you may have a pinched wire in the fan box (ceiling).
I know it's a pain but you may have to drop the fan again to be sure. It may have been fine before, But with a little vibration up there, could be just enough to change things.
