Wink Does the UMWA know about these little birds?

In all these years, I've never seen these little birds, but I just found how electricity works.
There are little miner birds that haul coal in wheelbarrows to the lights and appliances to fire them up.

After seeing the the poor little bird overworked in that second picture, I think he and others like him (millions of them?) should have better working conditions. Are these jobs that Americans are too tall or too proud to do?

It looks like they really have to hustle. So please turn off your lights and give the little fellers a break, will you?

Just please tell me that the birds from nuclear power plants are not bringing radioactive materials in my house. Wouldn't that make the electricity worse than just hot (like coal)?

For safety's sake, always de-energize your house before pounding nails in the wall. If you hit a wire you could injure or kill one of these guys. How about that for an occupational hazard?

These are unsung heros of the modern world. Spread the word!
