Removing outlet box

Hello,

I'm trying to remove a Steel City outlet box so I can run some new wiring to the switch, but I can't seem to get the box out of the wall. I have only been able to find one screw (in the center), but there is clearly something else holding the box to the stud on the right side.

I don't want destroy my dry wall trying to find the bracket or whatever it is securing the box. Any suggestions?

There is probably a bracket built onto the box then that is nailed to the stud. I can't say I know of a way without doing some damage, or at least the strong possibility of damage, especially not knowing what type of box and method of attachment it is for sure.

I use a sawzall with a metal blade that is 3 1/2 inches fully extended and saw the metal bracket. This is tricky and the risk of more damage to the wall is high. But with care, it does work.
