Outdoor Lighting (adding cable to existing)

I purchased these lights...http://www.frontgate.com/jump.jsp?it...iProductID=540 and would like to extend the reach from the solar collection panel. Would adding cable/wire (within reason, whatever that might be) impact the performance of the lights?

Thanks

Maybe. I would email the manufacturer and ask them. If they do allow that it might be okay, I recommend the same quality and same gage (or thicker) wire.

Yes, adding a length of cable will cause the lights to dim. How much they dim depends on the length and gauge of the added wire. If it's just a few feet, the change will likely be unnoticable. Over 100 feet, you might not see light at all.
