Liquidtight Flexible Nonmetallic Conduit

I noticed today that the Liquidtight Flexible Nonmetallic Conduit going from my A/C disconnect box to the outdoor compressor unit has the outer covering degraded (I guess by sunlight). It looks to me like NM cable is inside it. I thought this stuff was to have THNN cable used? I need to replace it so if I match the current load of the breaker (30 amp I think, dp 220v) I should use 14 gauge? The run is about 3 feet.
TIA,
Bob

A 30 amp breaker typically requires #10 wire. There are special configurations when dealing with motors that allow smaller wire than is generally required on a breaker.

Without the info from your unit, I would stick with #10 for the sake of safety and simplicity.
