Siemens electrical panel help needed - Door doesn't close!

Hello,

I moved into a new house that has a Siemens electrical distribution panel. There is one problem with it: the door doesn't close. It seems that there is a part missing on the main cover. The door itslef has the handle with the "spring" in the back. But there is no place on the main cover where it could latch. There is no indication of a knockout either, nor doens't it seem to the way a spring could latch.

My panel: G4040MB1200CU

According to this picture it appears that there is either an additional part on the right side or the metal is bent.

I my case neither is the case. Does anyone know if I'm missing a part?
