Electrical help
I have installed a twin duplex outlet fed from a 20 amp breaker from the house to the shed. I am trying to feed off of the duplex outlets to a light swtich then a light. When I wired it I turn on the breaker and the switch is upside down and when I try it it kicks the breaker off. . I tried the other way and it does the same thing.I am a dumb do-it-yourselfer. Did I wire something wrong ?
Duh !!!

Switch
At the switch, you should have connected the neutrals together with a wire nut and put a black on each leg of the switch.
If the switch is upside down, remove it from the box, turn it over, and reinstall. Be careful to keep the switch terminals away from the ground wire.
