Should I replace the sevice panel
House has a 35 year old Federal Pacific breaker panel. I was thinking about replacing the panel but I discovered most and probably all the problems are in the connections. Some of the high current connections get pretty warm(110F with a lazer probe). Tightening has helped some but the wires still look pretty corroded. What is the best way to clean wire and terminals. I was considering using a blitz cloth and some cramolin red. Well I have already done this on the HVAC circuit and temp of the wire went from 110 down to room temp.

I knew they had problems but never knew they were this bad. Is there a replacement for the breakers, I undestand this is not the case but thought I would ask. Replacing a panel wouldnt be that bad of a job. Unfortunately I have 3 of them to replace. This would also explain the melt down the breaker had when the well pump went bad. I thought it was lightning damage fortunately for me so did the insurance co.
