wiring utility trailer from onboard generator

Have New Enclosed Utility Trailer In Which I Wish To Place Generator ( Which I Will Vent To Exterior ) Is There A Simple Way To Pigtail, Or Wire To An Exterior Set Of Plugs ( Weatherproffed And Mounted To The Exterior ) So I Can Just Plug Up Outside ?

Your generator will have appropriate plugs into which you can plug a supply cord into. They are sometimes twist lock, so you will have to determine that upon inspection. You would wire your trailer just like house wiring with grounding wire and appropriately sized cable. It should be in conduit to protect it, and whip on the end that you will plug into the generator. The receptacles will be installed with proper support and "in use" covers should be installed. Don't forget to tie down the generator so it won't slip and slide on the floor, and remember your exhaust venting will be a source of water leakage, so you will have to plan on that, also.
