Cables Through Wooden Floor Joists

I have (2) cables (12-2-wg, NM-b) running through wooden floor joists in the basement. Can I run a third cable (12-2 wg, NM-b) through the same holes? There is plenty of room for a third cable.

Yes, if the holes have ample room to do so without skinning the cable jacket. My rule is no more than 3, however.
