Outlet below breaker box, ok to do?

Is it ok to put a 240 outlet(for welder) about 2 feet below my breaker box in the garage, or does this break code? Thanks in advance!

OK, I know this is an uninteresting post, but we're gonna do this in a couple of hours, and if anyone know if this is okay to do, the info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I do not see any problem with this.

If you can run through the wall NM is ok. If surface mount run EMT (AC would probably be acceptable also).

Just don't park the welder in front of the panel. You still need to keep the 30" x36" area clear directly in front of the panel.
