Central-Air Compressor Wiring

How is a central-air compressor typicall wired? 110v, or 220v? Two hots + Neutral, or just two hots?

Boy your' busy.

Typicaly 220VAC 2 hots and ground.

No, actually... See I'm at work, and it's really slow. So I have time to think about silly things like this. Fills the time, helps the 9-5 go by a little faster.
