Green stain at electrical outlets

Two separate electrical outlets in my laundry room have a green stain on the front of the outlet that appears to have come from the outlets themselves. One of them is a GFI, and the other is on the same circuit. Any idea what might have caused this, and whether or not I need to do anything about this?

Obviously, the copper is tarnishing/corroding and running down the wall. Maybe it was splashed , maybe it is just condensation. Look under cover at the bare ground. Bets are that it is also green. Or perhaps one of the wires under the screws is green.
