Dimmer Buzzing Noise

I just installed a dimmer switch for recess lighting in my kitchen and when the lights are on as bright as they can be, I can hear a faint bussing sound and when i dim the lights, the faint sound gets louder. I already tried replacing the dimmer, thinking that was it but still have the same problem. Any ideas as to what this could be? Also i see to change bulb brand, any recommendations?

The "BUZZ", from the lamps or the switch?
If from the lamps (light bulbs), Try some that are 130V, these have a heavier construction.
From the switch, Spend more, Cheap switches will do this.

Usually this is the filaments in the lamps. Try a different brand of lamps.

These are normal incandecent lamps? If these are low voltage lighting you need the proper dimmer for them. You also need low voltage that cna be dimmed. Not all of them can.
