Running 110V outlet from 220V stove outlet
I am replacing a electric stove/microwave/vent hood combination. This stove plugs into a 220V outlet behind the stove (lower part).
New appliances will be seperate 220V stove and 110V microwave-hood combo. There is no existing 110V outlet in the cupboard above the existing appliance.
Is it code to tap into one of the 220V outlet's hot wires and run 14-2 NM-B inside the wall up to a new 110V outlet box directly above?
Thanks.
