Do radiators count as a break in the wall?
With regard to NEC requirements for distance between receptacles, do radiator boxes that go all the way to the floor (about 4-5 feet wide, 2.5 feet tall, and 6 inches deep) count as a break in the wall? Most of my radiators are recessed into the wall (there are no studs behind them) but I have two that are outside the wall. Would this make a difference?
Thanks in advance.

So Speedy, (a little off topic) (Residential) Look at this. A doorway on my right, A 14' glass wall on my left (looking at the door), Then a corner.
Do I install a floor outlet? call the inspector? or start at the corner?
(purely looking for other interpritations here.)

Call the inspector, then he will tell you to install a floor receptacle within 6' of the door opening (to the left).
Same goes for permanent railings such as with a balcony.
