labeling wires

In the pro’s opinion, what are the “best” ways to label wires when multiple circuits are run through conduit?

Wire label booklets. You can get a pack of hundreds of tags that have 0-9,A-Z plus some symbols for a few bucks. You can mark circuits by source panel A-Z and circuit number 1-42; or really any scheme you want.

12-2 vs 14-2

Hello, I'm new to this forum, so this has probably been posted here already. I am starting to wire my basement and my father bought my electrical supplies for me. He ended up getting me 12-2 instead of 14-2 wire. I don't have the receipt for the purchase yet and was wondering if it is okay to use the 12-2 if i have the 20 amp outlets, other receptacles and a 20 amp breaker. Advice would be greatly appreciated!!!

3 Outlets stopped working

I have 3 outlets located in kitchen area that have stopped working. I checked them with the voltage tester and no response. I tested working ones and got a response. I checked one of them and the ground had come disconnected, so I reconnected it. This didn't solve the problem though. Is it possible that 3 seperate outlets would all go bad at once? Should I replace the outlets or just call in an electrician for this issue. I checked the breaker box and that's fine. Also, the GF switches are fine. Thanks for any adivice. James
