THHN/THWN OK for drop from wx head to meter

Just curious whether THHN/THWN can be used for that portion of a service drop from the weather head to the meter socket?

All is in conduit except for the three feet used for the drip loop and connection to the POCO.

If not OK, what wire type is OK?

Thanks,

The wire used in a mast where ANY of it is exposed must be of a sunlight resistant type. You need to check to see if the wire you are purchasing is a sunlight resistant type as not all THHN/THWN is sunlight resistant.

I generally use XHHW in a mast but there are a number of acceptable types.
