Bathroom wiring questions

#1 - Can bathroom lighting (recessed cans) be added to an existing 20 amp outlet circuit. The circuit currently servew two GFI outlets so load isn't a problem.

#2 - I want to install additional baseboard electric heating but wall space is limited. Is there a code restriction that limits how close a baseboard heater can be to a jetted tub?

1. Maybe. Where are the two receptacles that are on this circuit?

2. What kind of a tub is this?

The receptacles are located on either side of a vanity. I don't understand the "what kind of tub" question. It's a jetted tub that has it's own dedicated circuit.
I want to continue the 20 amp GFI circuit to provide power to the lights. I also want to install a 30", 500W baseboard heater on a separate circuit. The heater would be about a foot from the end of the tub along the same wall.

As long as the existing 20A circuit supplies only one bathroom, you may add lighting to that circuit in the same bathroom.
