How many circuits can share the same neutral? For example, one may use 12-3 for a kitchen circuit which has 2 commons or hots a neutral and a ground. But, in the case of 12-4, is it unacceptable to have 3 hots or commons and only 1 neutral unless it is a 3 phase?
