Solar power for a wireless invisable fence

I am looking for a parts list and basic diagram for building a solar powered source for a wireless invisable fence. The power adaptor has the following specification from what I can tell {Adapter: Model number: 300-089 (14v A/C 1800 ma) }. I can also get an inverter specifically for this device and portable use.

Is this for a hobby? Or do you truly think you'll save money?

It is neither a hobby or do I think I will save money. We are thinking of installing a wireless invisible fence on our property and some areas are to far to run electrical to. I am checking into what would be required to run one of these units off solar power.

There is an off chance the device would run directly off of a 12V battery.

But at 1.8A (plus reserve to charge the batteries), getting enought solar capacity to keep that up might cost you.
You might want 30W of panel, which might cost as much to run the AC cable out to where you need it.
