wiring question hot hot or not

on my homemade outdoor wood stove (water stove) i have a question about my wiring..it has always worked but i would like to ask...

i have power to a switch for easy on and off..from the switch i go Hot to high limit..from there Hot to Aquastat..then Hot to a junction box with hot wired to black of fan and black of solenoid (that runs a damper the fan blows into) and then fan and sloenoid white back to the white at the switch...my question...should i hook the solenoid ahead of the fan in series so if the solenoid fails when the aquastat calls for heat that the blower will not start

i have never had a problem but as time goes on i wonder about the solenoid or the blower wearing out?

hope this is more understandable then it looks

If the solonoid fails, it won't matter, the voltage will be there but the action (solonoid) wont. Perhaps a flow/proof switch ahead of the fan.
