diameter of aluminum service wire

I've searched high and low and haven't come up with anything, so here it is.

I am trying to find out the outside diamter of aluminum service wire (200 amp, so 4/0 ?).

I want to order some slip over current transformers (for metering) and need to make sure I order ones that will fit over the wire.

Compact stranded 4/0 aluminum wire has an outside diameter of the bare conductor of 12.07 mm, or 0.475 inches.

Were you asking about the bare wire, the insulated conductor, or the cable? If anything but the bare wire (for which I have already given you the answer), then we need more information, specifically the exact type.

The Cerrowire manufacturer has O.D. measurements for all of their wire and cable products online. Make sure to compare the same insulation type.
