jumpers from 1----6 & 2-----5 this the way the switch was when i got it . the motor has a thermo breaker as a man.reset also there is no hot wires or power to the motor anywhere when the switch is off i checked everything with a meter switch has a pase in you can not slam it from cw to ccw or from ccw to cw the switch wont let it happen any way its wired an it works great in cw an ccw

Nah, worked late then stopped by here, then cruised a few other sites I cause trouble on.
Glad to hear it works but that configuration does not provide the connections you listed for control needed previously and using your description of the switch.
This config will give you
L1--U1--U2 and L2--V1--Z2 in the up position and
L1--V1--Z2 and L2--U1--U2 in the down position.
If you notice, there is no difference in the connections other than swapping L1 and L2 and resultingly there would be no reversal of rotation. You don;t get reversal from swapping the supply leads on a single phase motor.
you had posted before needing
Z2--U2, U1--V1 for CW and Z2--U1, U2--V1 for CCW.
but as long as it works I can't argue with your success.
