Unhappy Broken Bx Cable

i was wondering if anyone had a suggestion on how to repair a BX cable I cut into while installing in-wall speakers. My saw cut into the metal and on grazed one of the wires. It did not cut the wire but I can see copper. To add a junction box seems a bit too much and if I can avoid it I would like to. Safetly. Anyway is there a sleeve that is sold? Or can a nice hunk of electrical tape do the trick? Thank you!

Either install a junction box (probably two) or replace the cable. Those are your only code compliant and safe options.

This really needs to be repaired correctly by replacement or addition of two j-boxes. An in-wall short to the spiral sheathing of old BX can cause that cable to glow red hot and catch fire.
