Trans wire / front wire?

Hi,
I have ANOTHER question about adding a door chime:

I can't read my current transformer, because it's caked in drywall compound and paint. (I'll be replacing it anyway.) So I need to know which wire is which.

Pleaselook at John Nelson's Parallel wiring diagram located on this web link: (http://img69.imageshack.us/img69/2125/doorbellwiringvf3.jpg). Which wire (Black or Yellow) is connected to the screw marked Trans, & which is connected to the screw marked front? (I'm afraid to assume the diagram's black wire is attached to the screw marked front.)

Thanks, Anna

There is no polarity with a tranformer bell system. It is low voltage AC.
