Remodeling

We are adding some new drops for additional outlets in an existing room. When running the lines from the attic down the walls, are we required to secure the electrical line to the wall every few feet?

The reason I ask is that if we are, then that means we will have to remove all the drywall between the attic and the outlet. I was hoping to avoid this by just cutting a hole in for the outlet and using fish tape to pull the line down from the attic area.

This will be inspected.
