rules on wire bends and run?

Another quick question for the pros. I am running two twenty amp lines to my kitchen. In order to get it to where I wanted and nice and neat I had to make two 90 degree bends. I ran it along the 2/10 floor joist then I made a hole and bent it through that joist and then bent it again another 90 degrees to continue the run but on the opposite side of the floor joist then up to the floor. In other words the wires ran in between the opposite floor joists that I needed it to go up so I had to bring it over to the other side. It is very neat and I left some slack at each bend but I am wondering if that is ok
