wire strippers

What is a good tool for stripping #8 wire.

If you only have a small amount to do, then any wire stripping tool with a #10 or #12 slot will work so long as you are careful not to squeeze too hard and cut into the copper.

If you have a lot to do, then buy a stripping tool with a #8 slot like the Klein #11053 or #11049.

After you strip the wire, inspect the metal very carefully. If you nicked it, cut it off and try again.

I love Ideal T stripers. They come in different size ranges.
