Photocell

I am trying to wire a photocell to a light. There was no schematic with the photocell. There are three wires, red, black and white. I'm not sure which goes where. Any help out there?

if this is a 120 volt photocell;

black to line (source)

red to load (light)

white to neutral

I know very little about photocells (other than their internal workings, which is not important) , but naps wiring makes the most sense, and is the logical first choice.

for some reason I tend to forget this myself so I went out to my work van and looked at one with a diagram right on the device.

I tend to forget which is line and which is load.

Every one with the 3 wire and colors as this are wired the same, in my experience. It seems to be an industry standard.
