dimmers

Does anyone know if you can buy a double dimmer switch that fits in a single box?

I have never seen such an item, and don't think they exist. Size and heat would be two reasons they aren't available.

Is there a reason you cannot enlarge the box?

I have not seen these, but glad to know they exist.

Note however, that they are limited. 300 watts load. 2.5 amps. May not be suitable for all applications.

yeah they are limited, but would work well for an area that has maybe a porch light and an entry way light...I installed one yesterday is the only way I knew about them. Note, they are limited to 300 watts per switch 600 watts total

Thanks for the post hbsparky, I haven't seen these before and I'm quite impressed they exist. I believe it's a new item in the Maestro product line. (and I happen to really like the Maestro dimmers)
