How to remove conduit glue

Im doing some work on my own personal home- a 200A service entrance upgrade, and I got the pvc conduit cement slobbered over one joint, and its plain out unsightly. Is there something that can take it off with, like some trick that is out of my knowledge, kind of like how you can use wd-40 to wipe away sticker goo, or brake parts cleaner to clean greasy hands, kind of thing.

Let it dry and peel it with a knife.

Or just paint the conduit, too.
