3 Prong plug problem

I had a pool installed yesterday and it was filled last night. My electrician can not run the wiring until next week sometime. The pump has a three prong locking plug. Is there a way for me to connect it to my house? I have not been able to find a converter for it and all of the other options that I have found simply do not seem safe. I'd apreciate ANY ideas. Thank you!

Wire your own converter. Replace the cord and plug on the pump with a traditional one, long enough to get the plug outside the ten foot line from the pool. Find a different electrician.

Would it be possible to rig an extension chord with a new head?
