Exclamation Energized pipe.

I had a reason to disconnect my washing machine and move it. When I reattached the water supply lines, I noticed a very mild electrical poke coming from the water pipe. I am electrically challenged in my knowledge so I am asking how dangerous this is, should I use the washer or wait until someone qualified can check it out.

just about any shock can be dangerous so you need to always proceed with caution.

When you say the arc, was the machine plugged in and you were hooking up the water hoses?

If so, it sounds like you have a grounding problem with your water pipes, at least, but it could be more as well.
Do you have an electric water heater?

If you are unsure what to do, that means you just got the first sign to call an electrician. Shocks can kill, and this could be the beginning of a serious problem.
