Red face Switch control for an outlet

I would like to wire an outlet to be controlled by a 2 way light switch in my garage. The only problem is that I am not 100% sure of the correct way to wire this. What is the exact wiring sequence I will need to do this correctly?
The circuit is a 20A dedicated (new wiring) on 12/2. Switch and receptacle are also rated 20A.

Here is what I have come up with...

From panel to Receptacle:
White wire to silver screw, Black wire ganged to white from switch (taped black)

From Switch to receptacle:
Black wire to brass screw on receptacle, white wire as above.

At switch:
White wire(taped black) to brass screw, black wire to silver screw.

Does this sound correct, or horribly wrong?

That is correct. I suggest that you use a permanent marker instead of black tape.
