Forward, reverse dc motor

Hi,
I have a motor which operates in forward and reverse. It is controlled by a switch. I am planning on removing this switch along with its wiring. The only problem is that this motor only has two wires. When positive and negative is connected one way the motor operates in a forward direction, but if the voltage is inverted the motor operates in reverse. I was wondering if it was possible to wire this motor in a basic setup, ie. have a positive and negative for both directions or even a switch which will invert the voltage.

Help would be most appreciated.

Of course you can use a switch. Where do you plan to put this switch? In terms applicable to electrical wiring, a four way switch is what you need to reverse the motor direction.

Why?1
If it goes clock wise. good. If it goes counter clockwise, good.
Why remove a perfectly good switch and complicate things?
Run the motor in the direction you want.

You have a DC motor that is operated in forward and reverse by a switch. You want to remove the wiring and connect a switch to operate the motor in forward and reverse. WHY remove the exisitng? It does what you want. Is there something wrong that needs new wiring?
