Ground

Stupid question. What do you do with a ground when you have a plastic box and a simple light fixture (plastic) that has no ground only hot and nuetral?

No question is stupid.

Just cap it off with a wire nut.

You don't even really need the wire nut. Just coil the grounding wire up and tuck it into the back of the box.

Whatever you do, do not cut the wire short. If you ever install a light that needs a ground, or extend the circuit you will need to use the ground wire.

Good idea. I figured you don't really do anything with it just beinsure.
