from 3 to 4 prong dryer cord

I just moved into an apartment. My dryer came with the 3-prong cord but the outlet is the new 4-prong outlets. How do I go about changing the cords on my dryer so that I can use it?

Buy a four prong cord and install it following the directions that came with the dryer. if you don;t have the directions, contact the dryer manufacturer. It involves installing the cable and removing a jumper that bonds the metal case of the dryer to the neutral.
