i just need to know which wire and breaker is for the 20 amp 240 volt plug in garage heater I need to finish my instulation

You seem to have started in the middle of the question. Start at the beginning. Is it a detached or attached garage? If detached does it already have power going to it. What have you done so far? What type of electric heater?

A 20 amp circuit needs 12 gage wire. You might want to go larger size (smaller gage) if the run from the breaker is long.
