Box for outside light

My house has an outside light mounted on the wall that is simply screwed to the wall. There is no electrical box at all. What are my options for this? The house has aluminum siding if that makes a difference. I know they make boxes that screw to the siding but that looks ugly to me and sticks out. Thanks!

Does the light have an internal box that is part of it?

They do make pancake boxes, that are small and might be completely hidden by the light.

The other option, of course, is to install a box into the wall.

Take a look at this:
http://www.aifittings.com/whnew24.htm
If this particular box does not meet your needs, look at the catalog @ arlington industries.com.
They have a variety of products for your application that should be available at any electrical supply house.
I don't know if orange or blue sell them but they might.
If you don't mind the mounting block, forget the box.
This is a typical install for houses with siding.

No, it just has the wire running into the fixture. I don't know how this thing passed inspection but it did.

How hard would it be to install a box?
