GFI breaker install

I have a new 60 amp siemens GFI breaker that I am replacing for my hot tub. This new breaker is different from the old one (cutler hammer) so I am replacing the box aswell. I have two questions. Firstly, for the 220 wire that goes to my hot tub, the white is clearly labelled in the middle.....but there is load in the right and left. I want to check, black on the left and red on the right?
My second question is bringing the power into the siemens single box from my main panel. The white goes on the buss (screw) but I want to check the black and red. The box has brass and silver. Black into brass and red into silver? I have been unable to find much info on GFI breakers. thanks

It makes no difference on the black and red as long as your connecting them to the hot lugs probably labeled L1 and L2. See if this helps you out for the gfci box

The hot wires in a 240 volt setup can be reversed.
