Brand of sub panels

When wiring a detached garage is a Siemens sub panel an okay brand? I know Square D is great but for a 60 amp sub panel my friend says Siemens is fine. Especially in a garage that won't have heavy use very often. He said Square D is great but only really worth the extra price in a commercial installation where there's heavier use. Anyone have an opinion?
I'm wanting to make sure because I just had my Zinsco panel in my house replaced. Don't want to end up with another lemon.

Thanks
Boze

SquareD Q0, Siemens QP, and Cutler-Hammer CH series are all top of the line. The Homeline, Cutler BR, and GE panels are a little bit cheaper construction, but just fine for residential installations. All types of the big brands meet safety standards.

What is your main panel?

I like using the same breakers throughout so if my needs change, I can swap a breaker from one to the other.

It's Square D. Recently installed to replace the Zinsco. I hired an electrician to do that but was going to add the wiring to the detached garage and the sub panel with help of a friend

If you have SqD for main panel you can use the SqD for subfeed panel i rather keep the same brand much as i can.

but just remind you watch out the code cycle there are some change along the way.

Merci, Marc
