In the package with the dimmer....

Be sure any 3 way switches are replaced with 3way dimmers.

A bit more info on your configuration would help tremendously.

Only install one 3 way dimmer for the lights. Do not install one at each end.

Pay attention to which wire is connected to which terminal on the 3 ways. It does not matter on single poles. Do not take any splices apart that are not connected to your switch.

Do not install the dimmers if your wiring insulation is not rated high enough.

If installing multiple dimmers in the same box you will need to derate their capacity. You will need to calculate the required rating for the dimmers. Common sizes are 600 and 1000 watts.

Do not install dimmers where a receptacle is controlled.

DO NOT try to install dimmers with the circuit hot. Besides the chance of electrocuting yourself, you can fry the dimmers.
