I recently removed an oven from my kitchen. I have power to a new oven which is on a different wall. I now have a 220/240? wire running from the breaker box to the kitchen with nothing to power? The breaker is off. Any ideas on what I might use it for? Can it be somehow reduced to 110 and used to power an additonal outlet or light circuit? I wouldnt mind switching the breaker out, but I'd sure hate to attempt re-wiring. That run is probably over sixty feet long and through many tight spaces.

It might work but as what Unclediezel mention above need to know what size wire and type and numbers of wires and where you will plan to run to what ?? there are few factors it have to cover for codewise

and in kitchen area it mantory GFCI reqired anyway unless you are running for Garbage dispoal or dishwasher they may not need a gfci for it.

Merci,Marc
