Wiring in metal building

I have had a 14x24 metal building erected and I getting ready to wire it. My question is, does the wire need to be run in conduit since the walls will be unfinished and wire unprotected?
Thanks for any help
Mike

Yes, the wiring down the sidewalls needs to be in EMT conduit to metal boxes. I often use 4x4 square steel boxes with 1/2" raised "industrial" covers in this situation. If you have a wood frame ceiling, there can be Romex up there. What will the building be used for?

The building will be used mainly for storage for odds and ins. I will have a freezer in it and I will do small fix it jobs for things around the house.
Thanks,Mike
