Square D Circuit breaker alert.
Hi Folks-
Just heard this on the radio this afternoon. There is a recall by the Square D company on circuit breakers manufactured between May 2006, and June 2007. These circuit breakers were imported by a shady company in Florida from (where else) China and carry the Square D name illegally. These breakers may not trip during an overload and present a fire risk.

Apparently the counterfeit breakers have a black colored amperage rating on the handles whereas the real ones are painted white. A different site states that SqD breakers manufactured before 2003 were not pained white.
