grounding dishwasher ?

grounding dishwasher ?

i removed my 12 y/o dishwasher to work around it. i found that there is a green wire that says " this wire must be grounded". it was not. what should i do ? it is BX . tia

depending on the year the bx was made, the metal jacket could qualify as the grounding conductor.

new construction 12 years ago, so i figure it is good. the problem is, it connects to a plastic box under the dishwasher. should i connect the green ground to the BX ?
