There are few places that the GFCI can trip

Let me run the list { it kinda univerial for most brands }

Electric waterheater { the tube heater on suction side }

Motor connection or a fault inside of the motor.

A nick or pintch on the wires can trip the GFCI or Breaker.

Transfomer go bad

Bad Contol panelboard

Now that one of few very common inside the tub area but if anything outside of tub area it will really depending on the set up.

Yes.,, you can able isolated each item when a item isolated and do not trip the GFCI then you got a bad item there.

If you are not confortable with electrical system you can get ahold of electrician to come out and do the troubleshooting.

Keep in your mind the electric inline waterheater in the pipe is typically 240 volts but once a while 120v verison will show up.

How old this tub is ??

let us know then we can go from there.

Merci,Marc
