Tandem Breakers for a GE panel

How can I find out if my GE Panel accepts tandem breakers?
I have a GE TM4020CCU which by the info I find says it'll take 40 20Amp breakers at 1". Any suggestions?
I check geindustrial.com site and didn't find the answer.

I think you misread. The "20" does not refer to 20-amp breakers. In fact, a panel would not be very useful if it only took one size breaker.

Since it takes 40 1" breakers, and since panels are limited to no more than 42 breakers, then it does not take tandem breakers (or at most it could take two of them), because otherwise you would exceed the 42 limit.

If you read the specs further, you'll find it cannot take tandem breakers at all.
